Floating in Sound with Flavia Cerrone & Harriet Emily Smith.
Friday 30 August, 19.45-21.45, triyoga Ealing.
Restorative yoga is the practice of actively resting. It is based on the lack of physical effort to allow the body to re-align itself physically, energetically and emotionally, shifting the nervous system back towards balance.
The postures will also be accompanied by sound healing with the gong and crystal bowls. As these sounds work with a healing tone and vibration, they add another layer of depth to the practice working to energetically clear out and realign the physical and energetic body.
Two hours of bliss, lying in different postures supported by props whilst being bathed with vibrational sounds. Some initial work on breath and energy releasing postures will help you release excess energy and set you up for a deeply restful time.
Flavia will guide you through setting up postures and will help you find optimal alignment to help your nervous system move back towards balance. Harriet will play the gong and crystal bowls to compliment the postures and help you find a blissful state of being.
You can expect to experience a sense of deep relaxation and restoration as your body moves through postures combined with the healing vibrations from the transformational sounds of the musical instruments.
If you are feeling drained, you can't easily move due to restrictions in the body or illness, or if you feel your mind is going fast and you crave for slowing it down, come along to experience a moment of pause. Or if you just want a relaxing Friday night!
£25 Early bird, till 23 August. Book here on the triyoga website.
