Saturday 18 Nov, 14.00-16.00: Headstand: getting over the fear of going upside down
In this workshop we will explore headstand, preparing the body with a strong physical practice, and creating a supportive environment where we can explore what blocks us to get up into headstand: is it our body or is it fear that stops us from doing so?
Note: For students with no neck or head injuries, and with at least one year of consistent practice.
Sunday 19 Nov, 12.00-14.00: Letting go: a heart opening workshop
We will focus on opening the upper back and heart area, actively counteracting our everyday sitting posture whilst melting away our emotional barriers. This workshop will focus mainly on physical practice (asana), but will also include compassionate communication work and a short meditation. It would work its magic more deeply coupled up wth the (following) Restorative workshop.
Note: All levels welcome apart from complete beginners.
Sunday 19 Nov: 14.30-16.30: Restorative yoga: the art of active rest
In today's life, it's easy to forget to look after ourselves and take time to re-balance. Gift yourself with this workshop and actively rest and restore through the lack of physical effort. Feeling fully supported, we allow the body to re-align itself physically, energetically as well as emotionally, shifting the nervous system back towards balance.
